You may have seen that Amazon.com has been embroiled in a scandal for having classified thousands of lgbtq titles as “adult” and therefor no longer eligible for bestseller status and for sales reports of any kind. Due to a glitch, Amazon.com says, for months it called Rubyfruit Jungle and at least some of Michel Foucault’s books “adult” while continuing to treat volumes of Playboy pinups as not adult.
